The Strategic Plan provides an overview of the capacity and potential of the members of the SRIP PSiDL project in the field of smart buildings and the wood chain home, gives focus areas and orientations where the members will direct their investments and where Slovenia has the potential to enter global markets. At the same time, it provides the basis on which, among other things, further focus areas and closer alignment of development policies with the state will take place.

The SRIP PSiDL Strategic Plan 2020–2023 has been endorsed by the Government's Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy and key ministries. The Strategic Plan presents the strategic orientations of the SRIP and the basis for the implementation of the partnership's activities in the 3rd phase of operation, which runs from April 2020 to September 2023.

In addition to the basis for the operational implementation of the SRIP activities, the approved Strategic Plan with its renewed focus areas and product directions already constitutes the basis for the renewal of the Slovenian Strategy for Sustainable Smart Specialisation (S5) for the period 2021–2027 and the preparation of the country's supporting measures.

Redrafting the Content of the Strategic Plan

The SRIP PSiDL Strategic Plan 2020–2023 builds on the previous SRIP PSiDL Strategic Plan 2017–2019. As the partnership and the field has evolved, there has been a need to transform the individual focus groups into a more coherent whole.

A new Strategic Plan for Phase 4 of the SRIP PSiDL project is currently being prepared and will be ready by the end of September.
